Job Description

Gilbert Road Family Practice is looking for a new part-time, full-service family physician (FP) to provide short-term locum support for a group of 5 longitudinal family physicians (FPs). This position offers flexibility in dates, which can range from 1 to 2 days at a time, for up to 3 to 4 weeks. Each physician works 3 to 4 days/week, with a variety of in-office and telehealth services. May be able to cover more than 1 physician if wanting 5 days/week. This clinic is open to considering applicants looking for partial/ part-time coverage.

This is an opportunity to join a group of 5 family physicians providing full-service care to their patient panels. Gilbert Road’s clinic team is well-established in the Richmond medical community, participating in the Richmond Division of Family Practice committees, assisting with surgeries at Richmond Hospital, and teaching medical students. Their friendly and experienced medical office assistants help keep their practices running efficiently, and free parking is available for family physicians (FPs).
